Every other year, AEF sponsors an Authors' Festival for each of our thirteen elementary schools. This event has attracted participants from all over California and several other states with over 75 authors, illustrators, and storytellers participating, spending the day sharing their love of storytelling with students. Participants' books are purchased by AEF prior to the event, so students are familiar with the presenters' work.
The event is well received by both the school community and the participants. Our next Festival will be held February 2011.
